Western Canada's premier summer strings academy, Rosamunde (August 14-23, 2019) is a high calibre musical learning experience for string students. Additional to instruction, master classes, and student recitals, the festival features an internationally-renowned faculty in three concerts of solo and chamber music repertoire.

The concert on August 17th concludes with Josef Suk’s Piano Quartet Opus 1; Andrew Wan, violin, Elise Lavalee, viola, Ariel Barnes, cello, and Madeline on piano. Wan is currently concertmaster of the Montreal Symphony, Lavalee is assistant principal viola with the WSO, and Barnes is on demand in international concert engagements.
