Madeline returns to the Icicle Creek Center for the Arts where, as a Master’s student, she first met the piano instructors with whom she is now completing her doctorate, Christina Dahl and Gilbert Kalish. This time she is thrilled to be returning as a guest artist. Maddy will share this concert with pianist Oksana Ejokina, Chair of Piano Studies and Associate Professor of Music at Pacific Lutheran University. Oksana also studied with Christina Dahl and has been associated with the Icicle Creek Center for the Arts for over twenty years, serving as Artistic Director of several flagship classical music programs including the International Chamber Music Festival and Institute. Madeline shares Oksana’s passion as a music education advocate and as a dedicated performer of new music. This is sure to be a humdinger of a concert!
