ROOTS AND BRANCHES, The Mentorship Concert Project, is the title given to this innovative concert in this season’s Virtuosi Concert Series. The concert will feature emerging Manitoba musicians, pianist Anica Warkentine and clarinetist Hwan Gyu Cho. They will be joined by established professionals, Caitlin Broms-Jacobs (oboe), Layla Roberts (flute), Minna Rose Chung (cello) and Madeline (piano). On the program are works by Brahms, Bruch, Beach, Saint-Saens, Martinu, Coleman, and Manitoba’s own Karen Sunabacka.
